The 5th of October 2025 was a day filled with joy, gratitude and new beginning as members of Wesley Circuit of Methodist Church in Zimbabwe in Harare West District gather together to celebrate the official opening of the newly completed manse. Church members, friends and families gathered to celebrate this special milestone in the life of the congregation.
The event began with words of welcome and thanksgiving acknowledging the many hands that had contributed to bringing the project to completion. Everyone had deep sense of pride as they reflected on the journey from the beginning till the end making the manse a true home.
The ceremony included a time of prayer and blessing led by the Presiding Bishop Rev G.T Mawire who spoke about the significance of the manse as both a home and a place of hospitality, reflection and ministry. Following the ribbon cutting guests were invited to tour the new manse whilst laughter and conversations filled the rooms as people admired the designed space and the welcoming atmosphere that already filled the house.
Stories were shared of the hard work and commitment; gratitude was expressed to the builders, donors and volunteers whose efforts made the day possible. As the celebrations came to an end the sense of community and purpose was unmistakable. The official opening of the Wesley Circuit manse was not just unveiling of a new building but was a symbol of renewal, unity and faith in what lies ahead.
